Painter and commercial artist who studied at Heatherleys. He exhibited between 1933-39 at Arlington Gallery        (3 works), Royal Academy (2), Royal Institute of painters in watercolour (1), Royal Institute of Oil Painters (8).

This striking depiction of what appears to be a continental cathedral captures the light of the late afternoon brilliantly. It shows an obvious influence of the impressionist school of painting in both its execution and subject.

This painting is framed with a high end conservation  mountboard which is light-fast and acid-free. The hinge backs are the same quality. It is enhanced with a hand drawn washline mount. The glass is sealed to prevent dust or bugs getting to the picture.
